| Someone told me recently that as the photographer you’re either at the party or capturing it. Well, I like to do both. Being a photographer isn’t about creating a distance between you and your subject, it’s a way to connect. I take every opportunity behind the camera as a way to understand the people I’m fortunate enough to shoot. It’s about capturing a moment. As a photographer I enjoy telling a story through still imagery. I work best in a collaborative environment and believe two heads are better than one. I love working with creative people and being inspired by new ideas. I over prepare to enjoy the freedom to improvise. And remember, a photograph is subjective.
